PRODUCTIONS BAGS GOLDEN PEACOCK QUALITY AWARD FOR FILM INDUSTRY
Rajshri Productions
was declared winner of Golden Peacock National Quality Award for
Hindi Cinema section of the Film Industry. The award was received
by Mr.Kamal Kumar Barjatya from Dr.Sahib Singh at a glittering function
attended by the movers & shakers of the Quality world at the
Inaugural Session of the 13th World Congress on Total Quality yesterday.
The award for the Television section went to Balaji Telefilms. Other
winners included Grasim Industries (Grasilene Division) for the
large manufacturing sector and GTL Limited in the Service Sector.
The award for Innovation Management went to Reliance Industries,
Patalganga.
The Quality
Awards are the oldest in the country instituted by Institute of
Directors and rated the most coveted. The award jury comprised Justice
A. M. Ahmedi former Chief Justice of India, Lt. Gen. Surinder Nath
Chairman UPSC, Mr.Govind Nihalani, Mr.Kiran Shantaram Sheriff of
Mumbai, Mr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal of Bharti Telecom, Dr. Sanjiv Reddy
IAS Director Indian Institute of Public Administration, Mr. Govind
Swarup Principal Secretary – Govt. of Maharashtra and Dr.
Madhav Mehra Chairman World Quality Council.
